The Revista de Psicología of the Universidad de Chile invites to send manuscripts to the thematic section “Historical-Cultural Psychology and Educational Problems Relevant for Latin America”.
Call for papers open until January 27th, 2017
The recent development of historical-cultural Psychology in the western world, and specifically in Latin America has deeply influenced educational thinking and practices. Thus, this perspective and its developments have influenced the reforms of education systems in the region, and have been included in undergraduate and graduate training by means of educational research. This setting highlights historical-cultural Psychology’s productivity to reflect upon various relevant educational problems in Latin America. Based on this, we call for empirical papers (qualitative, quantitative or mixed approach) that address from this perspective key educational challenges for our region.
The Revista de Psicología is a publication of the Universidad de Chile in circulation since 1990, open access, peer review and, since July of this year, indexed in SciELO Chile.
