World Wide Science

World Wide Science is a federation of scientific portals developed by the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) of the Department of Energy of the United States. It encompasses 95 databases, approximately, which have open access and open domain belonged to more than 70 countries. From these databases it is possible to have access to the scientific findings in the fields of energy, medicine, agriculture, environment and basic sciences.

World Wide Science allows users to search with a single query in scientific sources around the world and review the list of results to obtain more detailed information such as bibliographic citations, abstracts, and in many cases, the full text of the document. The information provided by World Wide Science is available in ten languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
