The European Space Agency (ESA) was started in 1975 and is constituted by 20 countries. ESA-kids is a portal created especially for young children in order to know the world of space travel, astronomy and earth sciences.

The portal is organized by topics and resources. The topics explain aspects of the universe (information and curiosities about the different planets, asteroids and other bodies which compose the solar system); how is the life in space and how astronauts will live when they are in a stellar mission; the relationship between technological tools used daily and its scientific origin related to astronomy; and information of the planet earth. Among the activities are the following sections: laboratory, fun and news, with animations, games and applications to test the knowledge of children.
